Disney Streaming Service Will Not Include Any R-Rated Movies


Disney’s service will NOT feature ANY Mature or R rated content. Luke Cage had plenty of sex and graphic violence so it won’t make the cut to be on Disney’s “child friendly” service.

So there’s no hope of a revival. They literally AXED the show because the BLACK showrunner who ran two successful seasons didn’t want the network interfering. These are the same muthafukkas who gave the white man who RUINED Dextor free reign to rape the carcass of the Inhumans series.

So Cage might not be gone, they might be trying to just move the character into the "mainstream" MCU. He'll just be a PG-13 version like the rest of the characters. I heard they plan on doing the same thing with Blade

Uhh...I just assume that they're going to move to Disney services, the tweet by Finn Jones implied as much. There were more marvel shows in the works for Netflix before Disney decided to pull their content, no point in them producing another season of these shows if they gotta overspend and be limited to producing new shows.

Oh and Jessica Jones is dope as fukk, so is Luke Cage and I even fukk with Iron Fist though I would rather them go ahead and give LC a 3rd season and then just do a Hero's 4 Hire.

Daredevil will probably get 'canceled' as well and make the jump, chill tf out.

Seeing iron fist cancelled killed off the thought i had that Luke Cage was cancelled because dude said something metoo-ish earlier this year. But yeah, this is bullshyt. Iron fist was garbage and i didn't make it past 20 minutes of the most recent season. Luke Cage just had a nice season, could have been better. Hopefully he gets called up to the MCU as side character somewhere and he gets "real" powers and not Netflix levels strength.

The worst part about this is Luke Cage left off at a great point. He owned the club and was basically the leader of Harlem's underworld. They actually had a great launching point for season 3.

Not directly.

Disney owns Hulu, which means instead of just changing the name and consolidating the streaming service, they can keep it as is to park their rated R content. Deadpool for example once the fox deal goes through will go to Hulu instead of the main Disney service with the PG-13 marvel stuff. Same thing would probably apply to the TV shows.

R rated Content will go to HULU. But, I don't think Netflix is letting go of Luke Cage or Iron Fist. They still control those characters. So they can make a HEROES FOR HIRE series, or drop Iron Fist and Luke Cage into other series as guest spots (suito Heroes For Hire) whenever they please.

I seriously doubt Netflix will cancel Daredevil or The Punisher. I think they plan on keeping those two characters for the long haul.

Luke was the best of the marvel shows they had. DD had promise but fell off. S2 of LC started slow but picked towards the end. All these seasons should just be 10 episodes.
