elite to me is a player that can play in any system at an elite level constantly......with avg supporting cast.

I think pats win cause of better defense....it always comes down to who got the better defense or who make the bigger defensive plays in sb most times.

Their defense is better, but not exactly elite or ions ahead.

But if we're gonna go there, the Giants defense in 08' weren't breaking any records and went against a PROFILIC Patriots offense (in which the defense wasn't a slouch either).

Joe shouldn't have beaten the Broncos and the 49ers defense was still very nasty.

Breh DQ has always been involved with the defense since Day 1. I mean he was a DC at Seattle and has always been heavily involved with that side of the ball. The difference with our defense this year came after our BYE week this season with a team full of young guys like MLB Deion Jones, SS Keanu Neal, OLB Devondre Campbell and a slew of 2nd Year players like OLB Vic Beasley and DT Grady Jarrett that are growing up all at the same time
