They're surprisingly 15th in DRtg
The offense is just because they have the 3rd highest TOV%, they're 30th in 3PT%, and 30th in FT%
They actually get a good amount of wide open shots, these cats just can't shoot for shyt

The Analytic community has been eerily quiet about this, Byron Scott was the worse thing ever to hit the Lakers according to them, yet Luke is being given patience. I wonder why

You think Steve Kerr would a better job? Ingram is showing improvement. Kuzma is blossoming as a rookie. Lonzo is good when it comes to rebounding and assists. Once he gets his confidence and leadership skills underway, he'll be good. gotta trust the process. Ingram's has been good enough to the point that now, he actually has huge value in a trade. I still don't think he's untradeable.

I posted in the team thread that the Warriors offense won't fit. The Warriors offense only works because of Steph, Klay, and KD's shooting. The Lakers core players in Kuzma, Ingram, and Ball aren't the knockdown shooters and they definitely have no one close to Steph's shooting off the dribble which really makes the offense click. Until they alter the offense to have more pick and roll and more actions geared around drive and kick the team will have a cap on how much success they can experience.

The style works because of the high IQ of all the players on the floor as well. Nobody expected them to be as talented as GS, we expected them to play with the same IQ and similar style.

And aside from Bogut, you named the 3 smartest nikkas on the team already (Lopez isn't stupid either though), and basically our new core. Injuries (mainly to Zo) and nikkas crying/pouting, nikkas playing for themselves, etc., are why they have been looking bad.

Walton hasn't even really instilled a real halfcourt offense.. All he wanted was for nikkas to play smart and hard. We honestly didn't look bad when we played how Luke asked them to play.

Now everyone crying for minutes and bullshyt and we look exactly like the trash we were last season
