Once again you adding shyt that wasn't there. If he had said "treat each other like we wanted to be treated." then the shyt would be cool. But this nikka tried to sound all prophetic and shyt then said some dumb shyt.
I really don't see what's different from what I'm saying and what he hinted at

You magically kill off an issue as big as racism and the shyt would have a domino effect. It's nothing but a superiority complex, how can a society that can get rid of that still be dealing with gender inequality?

So y'all are saying a society that can extinguish ignorance, hatred, and bigoted misconceptions passed down by generations across the board would struggle with gender inequality?

Of course they'd still struggle with gender equality. It has nothing to do with racism.

One is a superiority complex based on RACE. The other is a superiority complex based on GENDER. The two are completely mutually exclusive.

If he said it backwards, "get rid of gender inequality and racism will disappear too"....does that sound smart to you? :what:

No offense breh but this is exactly why people hate Lupe, and his fans. He says something stupid, or extremely simple, and his fans scramble to explain it.

What's wrong with what he said? :dwillhuh:
It limits the cultural appropriation argument to a simple game of "stop doing what we're doing." The main problem people have is with things being taken from their culture, underappreciated and then propped up when a white person does it. That person suddenly becomes innovative. Basically, he adopted the framework that people attempting to silence black complaints utilize.

The act of racism is no different than what we see in gender inequality. It's a tool used to enforce superiority. When you eliminate something THAT big, a society THAT advanced do you really think gender equality will last? Or that there isn't a correlation between many bigoted individuals and sexists...

Race is nothing but a social construct made to divide and conquer. Gender is the next big thing...

I honestly don't see that lasting too long, bro

The unknown
:yeshrug: he's my favorite rapper, but just like most celebrities and athletes I really don't agree with anything they have to say outside of their profession

We gon sit here and act like there isn't parallels between "race" (social construct ) and gender issues tho...

Are they really mutually exclusive?

I can hardly ever defend what this nikka says on social media, too much shytstorming and controversy. All I can do is determine that his heart is in the right place when I see the things he does for his people and I fux with his music.

Of course but it's social media and 140 characters to twitter man. You expect him to speak on white supremacy on twitter ?
