I dunno about chrome (I refuse to use that spyware shyt, but they may have an equivalent add-on.). I'd stick with FireFox personally. It's NEVER failed me

Or you could just disable everything on Chrome, but that would be a pain in the ass. At least NoScript gives you the option on the fly to enable or disable if you want

I used to be on mIRC HEAVY. I learned how to use that before torrents. If shyt ever gets real, I'll go back to wave. I haven't used it in so long I forgot how to.

Got a notice for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I couldn't find an episode of True Detective on my go to newsgroup sites and ended up torrenting it out of frustration. Tossed that shyt in the trash.
