I was gonna hate on Lupe right quick by pointing out this ironically explains how artists like Cole and Kendrick succeeded where he failed BUT I’m in a good mood and respect the Breh for murking Royce. So instead I’ll agree with him.

Drake embarrassed and trounced Meek with some playful shyt. There was no real pushback - a wack response diss that was scrubbed from the internet and some tweets. So when Pusha released Infrared Drake pulled out the same playbook thinking shyt was sweet. He didn’t expect Pusha to respond so seriously/violently. Drake was playing, not trying to win, and it cost him.
