I think they keep running into sample clearance issues. He tweets about it then deletes it.
Makes sense. He should say it’s finished after the samples get cleared tho
Last time I checked it was like only 2 songs they had to clear or something

Every other album release was a circus
Even F&L 2 had a decent amount of drama if I remember correctly. It was supposed to be a double disc. "Go to Sleep" was supposed to be the lead single. It was mild for Lupe standards
You right though, I think the Cool was the ONE album that had a smooth release
Peep the comments. Lupe got a lot of white folks in their feelings
I'm sure the instastory he made got em extra tight as well.

All that talk about how Atlantic was holding him back, etc etc well nikka we're here now so what's really good?
Anything that isn't on F&L, The Cool, T&Y, and the Fahrenheit mixtapes would be a major disappointment. I'm not expecting hits. I'm not expecting crazy sales. But this needs to be a well constructed album, have legit beats, good hooks, and bars that can be appreciated on a surface level as well as on a deeper level. Not just some lyrical miracle shyt.
