See, Lupe is one of those few artists that can sound comfortable on any type of production, and adjust his flow to various kinds of beats. The old disgruntled fans usually try to box in artists that came in the game with albums that were backpacker's/hip hop purists' wet dreams, like Food & Liquor.

I think it's obvious sales ain't what he's going for tho...seems like it's straight about quality of music/getting the tours straight. I think he'll straight up drop DROGAS man. In 19 days, how pumped can you really get someone? If that was his prerogative, he could've dropped something November, December, and in the first 10 days of this month
