I see what he's going for on this one. Not really my cup of tea but I can see people loving this. Too many trap beats with no direction off first listen. I'm more of a Tetsuo & Youth fan of Lupe. I like the intricate thought provoking deep shyt u have to break down. That's the side of Lupe's music I'd check for. But I'm not hating on this. It's just not my thing.

This nikka said it perfectlyThis album is tailor made for the Lupe critic that has said...
"Lupe can't make a song without being too complex"
"Lupe is just a rappity rap rapper"
"Lupe can't make mainstream records"
"Lupe isn't capable of having fun anymore"
Real Lupe fans knew he could easily make these kind of records but just didn't choose to do them in abundance.
He's consistently dropped conscious creative straight forward records his entire career. From He Say She Say, to HipHop Saved My Life, to bytch Bad, Hood Now, to Next 2 It, to Deliver, to what we have here. Even when he scales the lyricism back the message still connects with the listener.
I just wish he would kill Pop Lupe. Easily the worst songs in his catalog are his pop ones.

Just bushed this whole shyt![]()

.
...its all good.
And this is him at 25%GOAT of Conscious Trap.....
I've been waiting for him to just blank out on an album of trap beats....
"Made in the USA"
