I'ma just leave this here cuz I already know ya'll about to go in and shyt on him if this album ain't up to par.

His response to whehther this one is gonna compete with Tetsuo & Youth
It's intentionally done. He said "this next album is for them (the streets and the main stream), the second one is for ya'll (his hardcore fans) and the last one is for me (whatever that means).
He initially cancelled this album and didn't even want to put it out because he didn't want people to get confused as to his intent or say he fell or whatever, but he decided to go with it to switch it up.
Me and most of his fans ain't expecting this album to be up there like that. My personal prediction was that it will be an enjoyable and solid listen that is better than Lasers and Food & Liquor II but nowhere near the big three of Food & Liquor, The Cool, or Tetsuo and Youth.
With that out of the way, enjoy the appetizer. The main course dropping later this year I'd imagine.

This album is solid, much stronger than i expected.
But it doesnt at all sound like a Lupe album whatsoever to me.
