This album was originally cancelled for a minute because he said didn't know if he wanted to put out an album that was intentionally lighter and more "fun".

I'm personally glad he changed his mind. It's a nice addition to his catalog IMO.

Now you literally can look at his discography say there is no style he can't do lol.
