Bout to finally listen. Tetsou is one of my favorite albums of alltime but I've stayed aways from drogas light after being woefully underwhelmed by the early releases

granted some of this album grew on me i have to say most of it just doesnt sit right with me...shyt just doesnt feel genuine...all the repetitive lazy parts...like when a trash rapper does it they dont sound out of place because you know whats the extent of what they can do but when Lupe is repetitive it sounds so mailed in...dude is just bored with it and its kind of condescending to a degree

Honestly this album is way better than I would have thought.
It's still his throw away album and his light album as I originally thought and expected but it was pretty good. It had some good songs and production but it wasn't Lupe really trying to rap. What I mean by that is dude was doing a lot of what others in rap are doing and experimenting a bit. I think he does this to try and reach the masses a lil more but it doesn't make for as great an album as what could have been. It's a good album but Tetsuo and Youth was pure greatness.
With that said I expect much better on his next release.
