Was king not anti war, I don’t think u could say he was killed for any one thing of course it’s a combination of issues but saying he was killed for being anti war isn’t crazy or stupid to say

Notice how over the last decade he’s either getting disrespected, white washed, or hit with weird arguments like Lupe’s. Lupe is basically saying "oh you thought the government cared about your little black people movement shyt? Nah they only care about war" which is a complete contradiction of the government's reaction to King. Just a weird argument brehs. Another weird one you'll see on social media, often from a certain type of black women, is that "MLK cheated on his wife so his message is irrelevant." Weird attempts to erase MLK, likely as a means of erasing black men from leadership positions. IE we need to get to the back of the line and let black women lead because even the best of us wasn't worth shyt. Just a wild argument to hear a black person make.

I'm sensitive about this because I think MLK is incredibly misunderstood and ignored...and I don't want to see that shyt from black people. I get why white people have turned him into a Disney character. To pacify black people and use MLK as a cudgel against black people, arguing any discussion of race is racist "because MLK said don't focus on skin color" lol. But I don't get why some black people play along in different ways to turn MLK into something he's not, negatively. We don't have to deify him or any man/woman. He was flawed like anyone else. Doesn't mean we got to smear him though.
