Smart dumb nikka shyt and a perfect example of why he’s become so insufferable. We had a draft during Vietnam. The only people who were escaping it were rich white dudes (like Trump) and Ali. Speaking of Ali, he did way more to galvanize anti-Vietnam sentiments and wasn’t assassinated. Hell they only sat him down for a few years and then he went back to boxing like nothing happened.

MLK was killed for stirring black resentment and being a powerful black leader. Same with Malcolm X, same with the Panthers etc. Once those poor people campaign marches in the south got violent it was obvious King was gonna get taken out.

Above the fray.
How does it insult them?
It insults King by saying that he told all Black people to not strike back at their enemies. The non violence approach was the method of the people under HIS leadership and direction of the CRM. And it was a means to an end.

Others had different approaches and promoted putting hands, feet and bullets at the ones oppressing them. King didn't have a magic wand that prevented others from using different approaches. In fact, the ones who bust back helped the power structure to see King as the more viable option.
It's " cool" to denigrate MLK from the comfort of the 2020s enjoying the rights/freedoms and LEGISLATION passed because of the CRM. But people doing so sound like buffoons.

I was a little confused on what he was trying to say during that “f*kk king” portion.

I had to listen to it a few times, and then listen to the actual song, and after reading the replies, I think I heard something different.

What I think he was saying is that people got upset when he included the “f*kk king” in his lyrics. But what he was doing was holding up a mirror, saying that King was advocating for extreme non-violence against our “enemies” i.e white people, yet we had black people in our community who were simultaneously killing other black people with no abandon. He was saying that people got upset because he said “f*kk king” but that’s really what they were doing with their actions, killing other blacks people, and not taking serious his call to extreme non-violence, even against our enemies.

When you listen to the lyrics of the song, I think it becomes more apparent. He’s rapping from the position of black people who are more concerned with materialism, capitalism, drugs, and killing other blacks people, all actions that were the anti-thesis of what King stood for. He was saying that we are the ones who are saying “f*kk King”.

After listening to that portion of the video and listening to the lyrics, I think he actually supports Kings non-violent approach but is saying that many black people actually don’t.

Here is the song.

I could be wrong though so I’m interested in other people’s take.

Edit: Here are the lyrics -

Bridge: Lupe Fiasco and (Big KRIT)]
nikka, we ain't lost
This the bytch I'm a boss generation
(For the lost generation)
nikka, we ain't lost
This is xans got me nodding off generation
(For the lost generation)
nikka, we ain't lost
This the puttin' candy in my cough generation
(For the lost generation)
nikka, we ain't lost
You can find me jumping off the porch generation
(For the lost generation)

Verse 2: Lupe Fiasco]
For that, KRIT, let's kill these nikkas
You got skills to help build these killers (Killers)
Take the murder rate even higher (Higher)
And take a nikka bytch in the process
Turn the whole thing into a contest
My nikka fukk this mic
We should be fukking with MIC
Military industrial complex
And we can get rich, nikka, fukk showing love
They ain't listening to us
They ain't playing this bytch in the club
So let's get paid, turn these motherfukkers into slaves
School is for lames, man, these nikkas join gangs
fukk Martin Luther King, nikka, fukk change
fukk peace, I want a chain
With Jesus on the end of that bytch like blam!
fukk peace, I want a plane
Fill that bytch with cocaine
And make these bytches move their booties
And help these nikkas make their movies
Talk these nikkas into their graves
And talk these hoes out their Coogies
