The rumor I heard was he was still going to live stream the raw cut of the album on ig or YouTube whatever and still have it mastered after the fact. Idk, I didn't believe it when I heard it but someone who isn't even a lupe fan hit me up like "You know that new Lupe is comin right?"

I was like "Skulls?"

He said "idk the name of it but he's gonna do an album in 24 hrs then let everyone hear it on live stream."

I was all hyped up fo no reason

I can kind of understand the jumping to conclusions cause it's known he can work quickly (the IG/Twitter "freestyles" are done in like an hour or so) and it's been 3 years since the last proper album. But Lupe is his own biggest fan and has never actually followed thru on any of his promises on time, granted this one was pretty ridiculous. That's why the House EP rollout was refreshing. He never had the time to build up hype for it and by the time people found out about it, it was already about to be released.

Yeah, I don't mean in terms of skill level or GOAT talk. I mean he's just way too excited about his upcoming projects, which usually leads to delays or even cancellations.
