that article is super cliched at this point. the whole “ golden age real hip hop is over and ya need to get with the new program". well, that posture type article been going on since the 90’s im sure. certainly since the 00’s.

im tryna think, are there any rap journalists i respect or want to hear from? honestly think that type of job should be thrown in the bushes. there is more credible and insightful commentary on the music here on the coli and you got nikkaz who represent rap from many angles. its like the young writers out there dont know enough, and the old heads are bitter and angry. kelefa sanneh was prolly the last great rap critic in that he was knowledgeabale, eloquent and open minded about the new stuff. but he graduated to bigger and better things at the new yorker.

Now fast forward now in this P.C. bytch era and social media era you got anyone who can write a fukking paragragh(BLOG) or two and think they word hold merit or constitute any fukkking weight.
