It's too early in the day for a song like this man....

I'm saying thought. This is a GREAT song, but I'll probably never listen again. shyt is too deep and the fact that this actually happened in real life :snoop:. There is some shyt in this cruel world I just don't want to think about, and that little girl being senselessly murdered is one of them. SMH.

btw this shyt is amazing, lupe need to make this his single and donate some proceeds to her family.

Breh if he ma kes it a single I hope ALL proceeds go to her family and/or some kind of program targeted towards violence in Chicago.

Lupe is the man but I would find it highly whack if he made ANY money on this song at all. Profiting financially off the death of a baby ain't right to me.

Not that music is the reason for this shyt, but if it can help be part of the solution, why not play it?

Music isn't the sole reason, but it certainly reionforces the message of violence and ignorance. If it has the power to be a part of the solution, it definitely has the power to be part of the problem.

Blaming music entirely for violence in the black community is nonsense, but I think completely washing it's hands of responsibility is highly inaccurate too. The "music doesn't influence people" argument has always been off.
