I was a huge Fahrenheit 115 mixtape lupe fan so projects like “pharaoh height” and this make me nostalgic

Lu floated on this whole project and did it effortlessly. Pen game sharper than ever and he didn't even write. He's probably the only rapper to get better with age. Most rappers keep touching on the same subjects their entire career but Lu puts anything he's learned into bars. His concept songs are ridiculous.

I didn't know Lu and Virgil went back like that. I'm wondering if he was name dropping him on those early projects like he was Ibn Jasper.

whole EP reminds me of when he wrote a review to Hov's 4:44 while sitting in the airport between flights.
