y'all really gassed of this video? seems like hectoring from a pseudo intellectual to black people who have different ideas of blackness from him. i don't necessarily like the grills and scantily dressed hip hop videos as i have gotten older, but i don't think they c00ning cause when i was younger i would have c's it. its just young people being young black people. lupe is a pretentious cat and this song, vs Nas' Daughters show why he will never be Nas. Nas shows humanity to his daughter, Lupe acting holier than thou and better than.

Reasonable Doubt lyrics and concepts were very good and showed what he could do if he didn't dumb down.

Jay-Z said it himself, he dumbed down his rhymes to double his dollars.

I'll admit that made me respect Jay-Z for the first time, because he showed me he respected the culture when he admitted he dumbed down.

My top 5 rappers are Budden, Nas, Scarface, Pac, and Ras Kass. So, I don't need anyone to kick knowledge in their music, but the music has to be a little bit more creative than rhyming about rims and crack.

After viewing the video, I think it's clear that Lupe had a vision for this maybe before he even wrote the song



When we first heard the song it was like, "why is he talking to us like this", but it makes perfect sense right now after viewing the video. I'm officially hype for the album now. Wow that was a great video.

People understood the song, but his flow was primed for how the video is shown. That's what makes it better IMO.

if you're going to categorize Jay-Z as only money,drugs and hoes then you might
as well put Nas in there too. He has tons of similar content, especially on the "Life is Good" album, but I see you're trolling so continue on.
