Lupe Fiasco, overrated on the coli or underachiever ?

He was definitely a breath of fresh air in 2006 but he hasn't dropped anything worth while since Enemy of the State. Lasers was by far one of the biggest, steamiest pieces of sell out !! I've ever heard in my life.


I swear his stans will believe anything he says as long as he uses a few multi-syllable words and have a “rebel” image. Wake up!

I don't see how Lupe is a big deal on here. I see more Cheif Keef threads than Lupe and he gets his fair share of criticism and hate, some of it of his own making. He is definitely not the most appealing rapper but on he mic and gets busy. People complain about him trying too hard, but I'd rather he tried too hard being lyrical than trying to be retarded.

Just to chime in, his second verse on the song streets on fire is one of the best verses ever in hip hop. No hyperbole.

And yes he's an underachiever cause even with that said he's still an incredible rhymer. Probably the best rapper to come out in the last 10 years, talking overall ability. Yet doesn't have much memorable material
