I'm not feeling that Lupe always creates these super fake controversies before he's releasing something. It's worse than 50 cent and them, cause 50 will tell you that he's entertaining people, that he's a pop star etc. The worst case was the fake beef with Atlantic when he had fans who can't go out and support something real, demonstrating for his album. In the end it showed that Atlantic only helped with 2 songs, two successful songs and also the best songs on the album.

This dude Lupe is trying to trick soft minds that shyt is real, while in reality he launches his albums the same way Frank Ocean, Justin Bieber or any other popstar does. He makes more than most rappers and lives a very comfortable semi-ignorant celebrity life like they all do.

Does that take away anything from his music? Not really.. But his music has not been very good except his first 18 months in the game. Which was 7 years ago.
