Greenhornet
A God Among Kings
im not here to pick sides and stans from every artist can deflect
its apparent in a billion dollar industry, that people who sell out and crave fame and money... would obviously be buying and taking concepts to push their career.
the older I get, I dont respect it... but it makes sense why all of these people "strike while the iron is hot"
why not get help on some songs after you finally blow and get easy marketing and acclaim? nobody that has already sold out is gonna just reject free and easy money. ill be completely honest (and speculative) with the whole Nas and Jay shyt ... they have enough clout and catalogue where it doesnt matter to them really. Like when Nas took Quan song and people pretended Quan was gonna blow.... it was just a good gesture by Nas and put money in both of their pockets for no loss. Snoop did the same thing really... he got writers who otherwise wouldnt sell or make bread and gave them points on the album...it benefits snoop and they get paid and awards... I dont love or respect it at an art level, but its not a terrible thing for anyone. As long as you dont pretend you are some prophet of emceeing and shyt
