What I deciphered from your rant was the fact that because white people created a negative environment for blacks in this country, black people should not be held accountable for their actions. Well guess what negro, white people don't give a fukk about black people and their problems so if your sitting around expecting white folk to sweep in and save the black community from themselves then you really need to stop smoking whatever it is your sucking on and wake up to reality. And furthermore no one is scapegoating the black male. Simply repeating the mantra of "white people are to blame" is simply beating a dead horse and will achieve absolutely nothing in fixing this problem. It will be up to BLACK people to solve this issue. And one way we can address the negative atmosphere in the community is shunning overly negative images being portrayed by our so called leaders. Every other community understands this but black people. But that is not surprising because most other groups actually give a fukk about their communities. The same cannot be said about black people in this country unfortunately.

Yes white people created the bleak environment that black people currently find themselves via their racist laws, rampant discrimination, and the oppressive judicial system, but it will be up to US as a people to identify the ills that plague our community to solve them. Simply sticking your head in the sand, blaming white people, and refusing to acknowledge the destructive nature of some hiphop is nothing but an ignorant and self-destructive position that does nothing but further destroy an already fragile community.

You should consider reading up on the movements that black people created for themselves all throughout last century when blacks actually had it FAR WORSE than we do now. Simply blaming white people for every ill that exists in the black community will achieve nothing in rectifying the desperate situation that exists in the "hood" today...breh.

Violence is fine, it just all depends on why it's in the music.
Like for instance Nas has a ton of violent lyrics but it's rarely if ever just violence for violences sake.
There's usually a point to it, a reason for it, even then I think senseless violence in music can be artistic too.

XXX has that sort of aimless violence (in some cases) and some would argue that it's Danny Browns best work so far.
