The explanation that i think you were missing at the time of why he was saying about spice 1 and 8ball and mjg (this has to also deal with chief keef) is that that was who he grew up listening to, that he didnt really get into tribe as a kid cause him and his peers were into those gangster artist as kids... He grew up, and his music matured in content with him.... That doesnt make him fake, or disconnected to the ghetto, it is prehaps his feelings that he wants to make his community better.... Meanwhile, no matter how it could be spinned, Chief Keef is not improving his community with his music....
