He said several times before this popped off that it was never about diss records and going to war, just flexing, like Crooked did the other day and it was amazing.



This is what Royce had in mind, all the competitive rappers dropping shyt like that. Now he either has to fall back or start talking more reckless than Lupe just talked.

For all the times Royce went to bat for Eminem, Em should stick his neck out for Royce and really make this shyt interesting

I have a feeling if they keep trading rounds Em will inevitably be dragged into lol, he done brought him up both times he went at Royce.

Well I agree that lupe took this round but I also think he messed up. Don’t get me wrong as nice as Royce is I definitely feel that lupe is superior however from what I can tell and a lot of people agree lupe was just warming up. I feel lupe should of just went for the kill as soon as he could instead of trading rounds with a rapper who’s good enough to win some if he went all out and said I’m done there wouldn’t be much Royce could do.

This gets even uglier when you realize Guru did what he thinks Em would have done. Super technical bars to "impress" people who don't even listen to rap unless it's Eminem. Breh's entire career revolves around hoping Marshall likes it. As if that matters to any-fukking-body. Even started making beats in hope of getting a placement on a platinum selling album. Royce is in a tough spot though. Because his first round was weaker, and Lupe hit harder with a few personal jabs, Royce would naturally have to escalate this. Not making excuses for Royce, but he might not actually want to say personal shyt towards him that will take it to another level. Lupe is a gifted lyricist and was able to hit harder without being really disrespectful, he's got a way with words and backed Royce into a corner.

After listening to this diss for the 10th time.
I think what happened is Royce dissed Lupe, and something that Royce said really pissed Lupe off.
So he immediately did this diss track.
I mean he said his albums are immemerable, that he has zero impact and that he is a muthfukin lame, and all these other things.

I think this was a knee-jerk diss and neither Lupe nor Royce thought Lu would go this hard.

Lupe is generally a nice polite guy, but with a very short temper.

I think that's what happened.

Next time he says jay thinks I’m jay. Yet him and jay only have one song. Him and nas got flicks all in nas studio. But him and nas have no songs. Do we have to revisit Nas and Dead Prez and the nikka album?
