We gotta really talk more about the impact of that diss. He effectively ended Royce's career. And while Royce wasn't some hot selling artist let's not forget he got a Grammy nomination within a year or two of that diss, for an album many (not me lol) thought was great. So his career was certainly on the rise by independent/underground standards.
