Artists keep thinking lyrics alone get the job done.

Just not true.

Lupe is like Nas where they're both some of the best rappers ever but they just have wack ass beats.

no shame in coming in and being 'that guy' but all of lupe's albums are dope, despite where his lyrical/artistic peak may lie. his discography at 4 albums (if i'm counting right) outshines damn near ever other rapper in this era when it comes to flat out telling it like it is.
