goin independent is where its at anyways,in today's music climate eye can't see as to why some emcees still do the major label slave game, there's no real benefit cause most could sell just as much indy as they could on a major

emcees like loopay, nas, mos def, kweli, etc could sell what they normally sell and without the censorship and keep their publishing to boot :manny:

lupe been on a losing streak lately but i actually like this, it would be good to end an album with

an album like lasers :scusthov:

he's going independent.

for a man who had soooooo much potential back in 2005 and early 2006, he sure has been a disappointment.

:noah: i had high high hopes for lupe breh. too bad he didnt come through

I hope not.
His bars are good on this but the beat hurts the song and makes me not want to listen to it again.

Lupe better get it together with his beat selection or he might fall on deaf ears when he goes indie.

Nah. The production on this track is incredible. What you should say is if he doesn't do traditional hip hop beats all the time that the narrow minded won't listen, which is fine. He has to evolve how he wants to as long as the content is great, which it is in this case.

dubstep/electronic does not = bad beats just because it isn't what you want to hear.

That last verse :wow:

The concept :wow:

:mindblown:

THIS IS WHAT HIP HOP's ABOUT

I just realized, Weezy doesn't really appeal to me because of his content. I grew up and he didn't.

Honestly, this shocks me deeply. I remember you being one of the biggest Lil Wayne fanatics on here.
