From a completely unbiased view from someone that isn't exactly a huge fan of either, I think its funny how all the Kendrick fans are coppin pleas for him on some "oh don't go after poor Kendrick he was only talking to his peers, Lupe is a disgruntled bully". Nah that shyt won't wash, he sounded very arrogant on the control track(which is fine, that's how you're supposed to be if you wanna be the best). Hell, you can even check my post history and you'll see I gave Kendrick high praise for releasing it.

But if you're throwing shade at other nikkas in such a Bravado way then we expect you to be able to take whatever shade comes your way. I'm personally loving all of this, Lupe seems like the only new school cat (ish) that is out of that lovey dovey click of Wale/Drake/Sean/Kendrick crew and doesn't give a fukk about all that kumbaya shyt (hence, won't hold back at all) AND at the same time, is actually a fukking brilliant rapper and I think that's making Kendrick fans uncomfortable.

Also, at this point, Lupe has 2 gold albums and has sold around 1.6 million records with 4 albums,about the same amount Wale, Big Sean, Asap, KRIT has sold in their ENTIRE careers combined and yet these nikkas made half of Kendrick's list. Heck, Kendrick himself is only up to around 1.2 million so far with his 2 albums, so lets not act like Lupe is some underground nobody that isn't worthy of the almighty Kendrick's reply.
