That being said america is the greatest country on earth mainly because it's rule of law (when followed) and the fact that you can get all climates in the same country. You can go skiing or Jet skiing in the same country and sometimes in the same state.

Kenyatta basically sold the place to the Chinese but the improvements in Nairobi are undeniable and low key will bring more arab tourists in from the Gulf escaping the heat for those who can't get visas to europe.

honestly, the great lake region of east africa, especially the ones in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania could easily turn into a place for the rich to live. so many scenic view. it's like how europe best natural geographic is the Alps

It could be the breadbasket, the mineral Saudi Arabia and a vacation spot. You got beaches mountains, safaris low cost of living decent infrastructure in some places. If they worked together East Africa could be on point. There's already decent money flowing in there. i lived in an apartment complex and there were a gang of South Sudanese women living there obviosly the daughters of some clouted Generals and warlords in South Sudan.

How are we running away? I rather continuing building for all of our ppl, then continue building for everyone else & not retaining anything lol.
