Kenya is going through a catastrophic drought (exacerbated by climate change) and millions are on the brink of famine. I cannot in good conscious praise this obscene portrayal of wealth in a country with so much abject poverty. This isn't black excellence. Just greed and corruption.

And our fakkit vice president is asking us to donate part of our meagre salaries to aid the needy when
(1) We've done it before and our merciless corrupt politicians and officials literally stole the money meant for starving children donated from our pockets.
(2) 2 billion shillings(20 million dollars) is lost daily on corruption in a country this destitute.

honestly, the great lake region of east africa, especially the ones in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania could easily turn into a place for the rich to live. so many scenic view. it's like how europe best natural geographic is the Alps
