Her problem is she sells luxury goods that appeal to poor/broke people and this market segment is struggling industry wide.

ultra luxury and tasteful/quiet luxury (luxury brand aimed at and that appeals to the wealthy) like Hermes,Berluti,Kiton,Brunello etc remain very profitable. super yatch manufacturers are not experiencing decline in sales either

Only the tacky brands like fenty,gucci/LV etc have these problems. The rich are getting richer while the middle class shrinks significantly and the poor get poorer, that has a direct impact on luxury goods that does not appeal to the super rich that can afford luxury goods in this economy.

@Gloxina @HarlemHottie have y’all used Fenty? I’ve heard brehettes say the quality of the products were never above average and women initially gravitated towards it because of the shades but the other brands caught up with better quality.
I have. I was invited to the Sephora debut of the line, took all my female fam, it was a madhouse.

Do I still? Kinda. I no longer wear a full face, just Nars color corrector/ concealer and, very occasionally, a Fenty powder compact I bought out of habit.

But if I ever resumed normal life and was wearing make up regularly, I'd probably start with Fenty. I have cool undertones and this brand really got it right in that regard.

I`m in the loop on Skin care but literally every chick I've been in a mall with and we stop at Sephora the Fenty angle is always a "Rihanna's brand" rather than talking about it being good, most I hear is the representation in the marketing but to me seems like Pharrell's skin care line where you can make your own routine way cheaper lol and the genetics + botox is what has Pharrell looking how he does

So it's over??
I don't know. Maybe it will reivent itself

This was, for instance, the problem with all rappers clothing lines we had in the 2000's, they never became autonomous brands, they remained the brand of this guy or this group

A brand needs to stand on its own

let’s patch up!

Seriously, I don’t know. Rihanna checked out. She probably believes she has enough cash and investments to be alright and take care of her family. It was a lick.

People have been saying her voice is cooked from years of hard partying and drugs.
