When the story hits close to home they will all sing a different tune. One Coli brother fell victim to gun violence a while back. Look at the memorial thread about him and try to find posts talking about "the system" "social conditions" or other plea copping for the shooter.

A lot of Ghanians have colonial first and last names. (I don't know why) but I had a teacher from Ghana who's last name was Hagan.

In the book Daughters of the Trade a common last name of half wench half slave trader families was Lartey. I served in the Military with a Ghanian cat named Lartey.

They have surnames ending in 'Artey' like Partey too..
