Swann wasn't a sucker though. He kept going across the middle regardless.
Don't know what this proves exacrly
Go across the middle in the 70s brehs

See thats another issue I have. In my opinion if a dude is a hall of famer then he should be in no matter what.. Now there is this distinction between 1st ballot HOFer and HOF

The whole process is bullshyt.. Nobody even knows the criteria. If you have to pause when someone asks you if somebody is a HOFer then they shouldn't be in word to Mike Francesa..

There should be no doubt about it..
Why is there an issue? There's a limit in he man get in in one year. There are players who were head and shoulders above their peers longer than CJ that should get in before him. I don't see the big deal. I personally was glad that Art Monk had to wait. Dude had one first team all pro season and was middle of the pack good for years. He had to wait. He wasn't head and shoulders better than everyone else for years

See my thing is you have to dominate in order to be a HOFer. Art Monk was good but he wasn't dominant. I don't think he was a HOFer.To be honest I thought Gary Clark was just as good as him

Gary Clark was better. Scored more...more explosive. Just had a shorter career

Gary should be in the HOF and was better than Art

But Art was a HOFer. Retired with the most receptions ever and was the first receiver to get 100 catches in a season. Had the longest catch streak ever as well.

But Gary Clark should definitely be in the HOF. Its a crock of shyt he is not, just dont slander Art to make that point.

I feel what Swann is saying but he is the wrong player to be expressing those thoughts. The only reason he got in is cause of the rings that the Steelers helped him get. Cause without those the only way he would have seen the Hall of Fame is if he visited it as a guest.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
so we just gonna ignore this:

There are plenty of receivers in front of Johnson in both yards and touchdowns that have yet to make the Hall, including Jimmy Smith, Torry ****, Henry Ellard and Terrell Owens

but i don't see anyone caping for them... minus TO

i love him as much as the next guy... he's fukking megatron... but be fukking serious... this is not the hall of good... it's supposed to be the best of the best of the best

and y'all in here on some HE'S A LOCK... when in reality he's 27th in yards and 22nd in touchdowns and barely ever made the damn playoffs.... i can assure you it'll be a long time before he gets in, if he gets in

Agree. Which is why I think TD deserves to be in. His 1998 season is probably the best overall season a RB has ever had.
