The Devil's Advocate
Call me Dad
see that's good for what YOU wantfewcha chryst don't owe aubrey shyt that's one thing for damn sure jahahahaa
thugg doesn't work like most label acts and he doesn't have to
only way you could perceive lyor to be right is in the sense that he could better craft songs and put time into them but that doesn't mean he should begin to work the way say drake does with a million cooks in the kitchen tryna jump in one pot
like i said you take the polished gems for the mainstream and you keep the raw work/experimental tracks for individuals who aren't waiting for the radio/tv/films to put them on a wave
i rather thugger continue to be him than get fukked up chasing mainstream hits when honestly a mainstream hit has more to do with payola than how good a song really is
he can work both sides really a couple more tracks with international djs/producers like good times some duets with r&b acts like rihrih or that shyt with biebavelli but lyors greedy ass would have him tryna chase chart numbers and his output would dry up
lyor talking bout abandoning tracks when that's exactly what he's finna do
have thugger sitting on a archive of raw work just cause that shyt ain't cookie cutter
imagine how much piff would go unreleased?

but this video isn't lyor saying "hey here's what i want you to do for me"
this video is THUG saying "I WANT 10 NUMBER 1'S" and lyor saying "IN ORDER TO GET #1'S YOU MUST DO ................"
so no... he is not going to keep doing exactly what he's been doing and reach number 1. not once and definitely not 10 times. we are talking about an artist who has NEVER sold 20k records and suddenly he's going to leapfrog into number 1?
there's more to that than, here's a stack of cash, play me... if that was the case, every single label would simply buy a top 10 hit for their artist... you need that shyt to be catchy, hit both genders, hit all races, hit nyc and hit wyoming, and get play on more than just rap stations
and to do that, you need to show your face, show who you are to the public, make a relatable track to that public, push that song and only that song for months, and then the song better be a real song made for easy consumption to the masses
again.... does YT have to do all that shyt.... nah
does he have to do it if he wants "10 number 1's" yup
