fewcha chryst don't owe aubrey shyt that's one thing for damn sure jahahahaa

thugg doesn't work like most label acts and he doesn't have to

only way you could perceive lyor to be right is in the sense that he could better craft songs and put time into them but that doesn't mean he should begin to work the way say drake does with a million cooks in the kitchen tryna jump in one pot

like i said you take the polished gems for the mainstream and you keep the raw work/experimental tracks for individuals who aren't waiting for the radio/tv/films to put them on a wave

i rather thugger continue to be him than get fukked up chasing mainstream hits when honestly a mainstream hit has more to do with payola than how good a song really is

he can work both sides really a couple more tracks with international djs/producers like good times some duets with r&b acts like rihrih or that shyt with biebavelli but lyors greedy ass would have him tryna chase chart numbers and his output would dry up

lyor talking bout abandoning tracks when that's exactly what he's finna do
have thugger sitting on a archive of raw work just cause that shyt ain't cookie cutter
imagine how much piff would go unreleased?

be smarter

see that's good for what YOU want

but this video isn't lyor saying "hey here's what i want you to do for me"

this video is THUG saying "I WANT 10 NUMBER 1'S" and lyor saying "IN ORDER TO GET #1'S YOU MUST DO ................"

so no... he is not going to keep doing exactly what he's been doing and reach number 1. not once and definitely not 10 times. we are talking about an artist who has NEVER sold 20k records and suddenly he's going to leapfrog into number 1?

there's more to that than, here's a stack of cash, play me... if that was the case, every single label would simply buy a top 10 hit for their artist... you need that shyt to be catchy, hit both genders, hit all races, hit nyc and hit wyoming, and get play on more than just rap stations

and to do that, you need to show your face, show who you are to the public, make a relatable track to that public, push that song and only that song for months, and then the song better be a real song made for easy consumption to the masses

again.... does YT have to do all that shyt.... nah

does he have to do it if he wants "10 number 1's" yup

how many rap nikkas getting any #1 records period?jahahahaa

like i said lyor ain't wrong to say thug should polish his work a lil more
but he will fukk up by cutting off the work flow

everyone/everything is not meant for mass consumption
thug is more the type to pull mainstream into his own world than tryna fit into that market space

putting all the eggs in the hit records basket is some goofy shyt thug is more avant garde gucci than he is aubrey or whatever pop/hop nikka suits wanna sell him as

thugger just popping shyt talking bout ten #1's jahahahaa

let the artist work how they work all the suits should do is provide the resources for him to do his best work and monetize the fashion in which he works

if all the leaks and snippets were streaming on a site/app that joint would be doing numbers
between that and getting his live show right he'd be better off
he could easily balance that with polishing records for mainstream/mass media and working on collabs

we'll see if lyors right then thug should be taking off soon
we gonna see

once again you are missing the point... lyor didn't bring the shyt up.. he answered what YT brought up

nobody on earth is going to keep pouring money into something and not making it back.. lyor ain't making no fukking money off 17k albums... and still he working with dude.. all he said was do more interviews and shyt

YT, whether being truthful or talking out his ass, came up with #1 hits... lyor told him how... YT said he don't want to do it... so he won't be doing it... so we won't be seeing how it goes, cause YT said "NO"

you act like he hasn't been doing what he's been doing the entire time... obviously he has... obviously he'd like to do more

but hey... keep doing the same exact thing and expect better results... we'll see how that goes

dame was right....lyor is an idiot and a vulture....part of the reason why hes so big is...his style is very organic and unforced....its dynamic and also like the girl said...he has a mysterious natural to himself....he keeps ppl guessing

but jew cohen dont care about his long term career...hes trying to basically build something big fast, and cash out really quick

He needs to stop.

He says the sane punchlines over and over

can't front, if thug says "Beat it like mike" on another song :snoop:

truthfully i think he retreads the same water because he's just been releasing all the shyt that leaked, properly.

so now we have 5 songs of him using a punchline he liked instead of one, you know?

that's just my take though.

He freestyles all those songs?

:ehh:

its called a punch in and its what every rapper since wayne took it from jay z TRIES to do- it aint like he goes in, drops a 16 off the dome, then records a hook in one time

more like rap a bar or two-- think of some more record another bar or two rinse wash repeat--

:yeshrug: it actually takes less time to record if you have your vocals WRITTEN and have practiced your verse and how u will spit it-- but these young nikkas love being in tha studio all day even tho it comes out of their advance money
