Used to get the cassettes as a bonus when we bought clothing (Echo Unlimited I think) from Sportswear Unlimited at the mall in the 90s. I still have a few of the other volumes, but thank god for the innanets.

I'm still pissed we never got that group album from Common, black thought, Monch, and Absolute. This is still a very dope album with a lot of hidden gems on it. Vol 2 was flawless too along with the Soundbombing series. During this time, I would instantly buy any and everything Rawkus released without questioning it. If I saw that Rawkus symbol on an album or sometimes 12", it was getting bought instantly.

The Echo Unlimited underground airplay cd was crazy. On that cd they had the Boogieman and Masta Ace disses "just you wait" and "acknowledge" . I had to buy the Boogieman white label 12" to get the full song.

Yes, that was them, whoops, not sure why I confused the 2, maybe because it's 4am.

They had those, Rawkus stuff and other mixtapes.

I am just glad all of it is on the net now.

Still to this day.

The best record was not on that release.
that finally it was released to the public.

Track 13 : lyricist lounge missing track

Witness the missing history of the best emcee ever.
