Dunno man. The business framework itself ensures certain types of people are always involved. Now when it comes to independent shyt I agree, you can navigate thru that without dealing with whoever you don't want to deal with. But at a major label there are going to be white people involved. That's inevitable.
The thing that kills me about this piece of shyt M80 is that he preys on older rappers. Not just him, a lot of industry people do this shyt. I'm talking about guys who bottomed out when rap label money dried up ages ago, then they start targeting legends of established artists. Dudes like G Rap. Or specifically in this case...Chino XL. They get these dudes signing wack contracts, putting out terrible projects, buying youtube bots, and I'm 99.9% sure they're eating off the tour money too.
Thank god Nas is providing a path for our legends to make bread and release legitimate projects they can tour off. I need to see more of our successful icons doing stuff like this.
