Mase influence has been felt even before the last two years, Kanye, Pusha, Fabolous, Cam,(Dipset) have all directly been influenced by him, one of the first rappers to come with that laid back flow mixed in with that 90 Bad Boy/Harlem swag and you get one of the most charismatic effortlessly talented rappers ever, who doesn't respect him?
Mase is a disgrace, but no way in hell can you say that the ngga's rhymes is or was any where near garbage...if Mase is garbage then you gotta say Drake is garbage too and I know a lot of you fakkits wouldn't dare call Drake's rhymes garbage...btw "Mase – G-Unit Radio 16: 10 Years Of Hate" was a pretty decent mixtape as well...
The comparison with Mase and Drake makes no sense, Fabolous is a more apt comparison. The difference is Mase came up on that street shyt, and he can still spit that street shyt that he was spitting with Cam and em, if he wants. Drake can't, he a surbaban mullatto who hasn't had the experience, Mase got them swagged up coke raps, he an influence to a lot of new age rappers who try to act 'too cool for school' Mase was the original.
of course fab would be a more apt comparison, but he never reached the level of success or fan support for mase and drake soooooo....
