Brehs. I fukked around and had to cancel directtv. These dudes couldnt get my bill under 100 and I was promised nfl league pass for free and the morning after had a 37 dollar charge for it. So I decided to call time warner since they already give me internet so basically I wonder if im pouring jelly on myself.

Im going to get this 129.99 package that is a turbo internet/sports pack/hbo/hd dvr package/ with ths digital phone which I wont use. Is there a way I can get that bill down the cable dude will be here tomorrow.

Yall nikkas must be doing some crazy shyt. I always :heh: when i see threads like this.

I've had DirecTV for well over a year now and my bill hasnt changed once unless I added or taken something off.

Breh I think it may depend on areas you live in. Im here in texas and direct tv is hitting cats in the head after the first year. And to make matters worse I cant get no internet faster then 1.5mbps unless I get time warner so my internet bill always needs to be separate. I may actually come out ahead with cable. Plus wont be any atmosphere obstruction.

I've had direct tv for 1 year now. Started paying $105 a month for all the premium channels. After the 6 month promotion my bill went up to $135 a month. I called direct tv told them I wanted to cancel my premium channels, they sent me to some retention specialist in which he signed me up for another promotion in which I get to keep all lmy premium channels for $100 a month

If I were you I would call threaten to cancel and see what kind of deals they will offer you , they will always offer you something cheaper

What i'm saying is that i think sometimes dudes dont read everything. They see that first price and think that theyre locked in for the whole time. When the price goes up..they wanna say theyre getting fukked over, when in reality they either didn't read, or didnt understand.

i remember when cox was charging me for an extra box for no reason. i called them up and they said it was part of my plan :aicmon: (i was in a one bedroom apt w/ 1 cable hookup).

got that rebate check tho, fukk them :pacspit:

also remember when i had time warner roadrunner in texas. the service was terrible @ peak hours. shyt used to always go out for like 20 mins and come back just to go out again in a few hours :mindblown:. (and it happened on a consistent basis) its bullshyt that cable companies have certain areas on lock

You all are fukking idiots if you get scammed by them.

I have Comcast, I pay $86 a month (including taxes) for 2 DVRs + 2 regular boxes, internet, cable and HBO for 6 months. Then my "promotion" expires.

So after that period, it goes up to like $120, and then $150, etc...

But as soon as the 6 months is up, I call, complain, and ask to speak to the "loyalty" department. I get them, I yell for 5 mins then the next 6 months I am back at $83 a month and I have no contract. I have been doing this for about 3 years.

So I have to call them 2x a year, big deal. How hard is this?

How does everyone not know this? Why are these threads being made? shyt is embarrassing.

Same as me, those are my only options and I have DirecTV. How did you manage to get Sunday Ticket free?

I'm in the second year of the contract so the bill has jumped up.
