i'm a fan of max but that's insulting to mac dre. northern cali supports regional artists like none other, and mac dre was in the game since 89.. sure he could have POSSIBLY gotten love nationally (doubt it, hyphy is still hated on), but he was doing real good for himself.

oh I got you, and even agree with what you're saying then. mac dre's style is a lot more accessible than either $hort or 40 too, so I'm thinking he might have even been bigger than either of them.

1st nikkas dont appreciate outta ALLL that gangsta shyt that was made late 80s early 90s Mac Dre was the only rapper in 91 to have a fed case, on some shyt he didnt do and still kept it solid with his nikkas and still put a album out from jail. First rapper to do that too.



when he got out he didnt hurry and sign to a major he got out and rebuilt his fanbase independently. But overall he simply was a real nikka that said real shyt that he felt. He didnt say what was cool or whats trending he spoke his life. nikkas dont really do that nomore
