Macbook Air 12" .. who got it and what are your thoughts?

who has this macbook ? i'm in the market for a new computer. this is out of my price range, but does this look sexy as fukk.

i've been rocking the 11" macbook air since 2011 and it's the GOAT laptop. And best laptop i've ever owned. Runs circles around any computer that came out at that year. Or maybe i've just kept it in good condition.

I've also been thinking about the surface pro, but not sure how i can manage going back to a windows computer. I have a windows 10 desktop, and its hard to use sometimes.

are you talking about the regular "Macbook"?

there is a rumored update that might refresh that entire lineup soon.

The regular Macbook was refreshed recently, it is the Pros that are expected to have a major update in Q4 this year.

my wife has this computer. I have the macbook pro. MBP is much faster and is damn near as thin as the air is these days anways.

Type-C is the future, hopefully, the new pros have at least 2 type-c ports



maybe apple one day will change their proprietary lighting connector to type-c as well.
