Apparently 26th Letter samples Haitian horns from a music style called Rara, and Magnum Band is the name of a Haitian music group.

maybe the other Zoes can verify but I’m fairly sure he paying homage to system band on Marie. I don’t remember which song specifically but he mixing classic Compas with pac in the hook.

it's how niche he is. remember, there's a rap like roc marciano thread on here that shyts all over him lol but it's dumb hilarious to me. roc is wild niche too but mach even more so. so i guess to those who don't dig his music they get irritated when they read what they feel is unwarranted praise like they being trolled or something

dope post, but I don’t agree that Ka would get nearly the same slander as Mach if he was as popular. Everyone would acknowledge that Ka has an alien level pen game with a lot of depth even if that sound scape isn’t for them. nikkas break down mach bars and realize that there isn’t much there but extremely forced metaphors and some some mid word play
