this is such a reach lol. He isn’t calling it nerd rap because Mach shows “intelligence”. Nas and all of wu tang get their flowers and they all had knowledge and intelligence at the forefront of their topics. Ehhhh Mach finally getting some praise after a solid release isnt a crazy pedestal to me.. 85% of people here shytted on this entire movement because of the drumless beats and West’s voice....Until get finally got some industry praise...now look where they sre at now.....Mach gets boo’d. gets some industry praise and here we have it....
Also being “weird” abstract... whatever you want to call it is hip hop....going against the grain is hip hop..

I listened to this project multiple times and I listened to other Mach projects like HBO and Mach’s hard lemonade as well as all the stuff he did with Griselda in 2016-17. I say he’s put on a pedestal because I’ve seen people (not really on the coli, but mostly on twitter) put Mach in the same conversations as Nas Jay and Big and other elite lyricists. Being abstract is apart of hip hop but that doesn’t make you elite just cause you are using that style. Mach hasn’t written anything to be put in this elite rapper conversations and I’m willing to break down bars to prove that point
