I would think there would be language about tying your hair up above your head to prevent accidents like this. Sad story

When working around conveyors there are usually warnings for loose fit clothing, items hanging around your neck, and long hair.
But there is supposed to be an emergergency stop cord you can pull to immediately shut off the conveyor. I wonder if she couldn't reach it.

Agreed. Lots of jobs have hair risks like this, its on the employee to follow regulations. Hard to believe an airport wouldnt have themselves covered legally. Theyll probably give them a settlement to avoid the hassle though.
