Why did Mack stop recruiting inner city kids?

most seem to think it was the results of the 2006 class. Pretty nice class, but a lot of the top guys ended up getting in trouble for drugs or the armed robbery bunch. Bunch of wasted talent. Since then, the classes have still been pretty good, even excellent at times, but decidely going after "character" guys. Even the most fervent, whitest of white UT fans noticed how by 2010 he had the weakest, whitest, most goody goody weak line ever. Thankfully Searles has come in and changed that completely the last two years. He's also been after the Sam Achos and Jackson Jeffcoats of the world that come from well to do families. So the reputation is almost like he's looking for players from suburban areas or children of pros or coaches. He's always been into the children of pros and coaches, but he used to pair those with a lot of east texas and inner city kids.
