I see how his message is different than an Elvis, or an Iggy Azelea in that he's acknowledging his white privilege, but I don't see how his actions are any different.

He's still making money off of an art form created by black people. He has still positioned himself at the forefront of a movement; dismantling white supremacy, that

he, himself, benefits from. Its a win win for him. I'm not giving him a cookie for doing what he, and all white people, should be doing. Especially considering the fact

that he's doing it in a way that is making him millions of dollars while there are tons of black rappers out here, spreading the same message while actually living the

life of a black person in a white supremacist society, starving.
well else do you expect from these entertainers man?
he can just do nothing...but he's at least doing something.

His message will hit WAY more white listeners than what those other tons of black rappers would.....thanks to his privilege.

No one is stopping these other black rappers from rapping the same thing. Why isn't future or drake, or meek, or nikki in this fight?

where is wayne or jay or 50?

thse guys ain't doing it...shyt I saw a video from Young Thug saying he ain't about that life...he just wants to swag out and party.

I mean, if the black community can't hold its OWN rappers/entertainers/etc accountable then why the fukk are you gonna complain when someone else does it??

What a stupid ass comment to make. Do you even like rap music? Are you even black? Do you know how many rappers in the past have taken the time to talk about these issues? Do you know not of

Sister Souljah? What the fukk is wrong with you to make a comment like that? I'm sure you're white, and this is the fukking problem. White people come into black spaces, and know not of its history but

then want to dominate what we have created and make a bunch of ignorant comments like the one you just replied with. Black people have to deal with this shyt on an everyday basis, but I'm suppose to

applaud this white dude for acknowledging what black people have been saying for years, and your reply to me is, "what are black people doing?" fukk off, seriously!
