Cool excuse for being a one hit wonder but not only has it been done before i aint buying it..
He cant record music because he was driving around smoking weed? Hasnt a large portion of Hip Hop music been made while people smoked weed

nah, I've been sayin he was a 1 album wonder, not 1 hit.. he has 1 platinum single & 3 multi-plat singles just in the US. two #1 singles. but that's the thing I've been sayin since his corny ass started becoming popular, check the hooks, which have been the main reason for his biggest hits. someone else is singing them (possibly wrote them too)... . I'm pretty sure him takin a break after his successful album was partly because he didn't have new shyt which would be as successful as his 'hit' singles/album. now, the longer he takes, the less his so called fanbase will care once he actually drops. unless it's something as big as Thrift Shop... which it won't be.

Oh I know hes not putting out music because he's just not as talented as the mainstream media and some posters on this site made him to be.
However, the excuse is he just wasn't being an adult! He was riding around smoking weed in a car! Then his girlfriend got pregnant and you know how getting girls pregnant completely keeps rappers from making music....it's why Flava Flav never really blew up on his own after PE I believe.
