everything is marketing for cash and income. Miss me with that shyt. Speak on it during the Grammys when you get awarded and have the cameras follow you to give it to Kendrick. EVrybody fake, white liberals eating off the culture, black "leadership" paid to rile people up, the churches, the schools etc. and now celebs calling for a boycott of a fukking TV special that only concerns them. That nobody even really watches like that in our community.

I don't see how pissing off 90% of your fan base is a publicly stunt.

Real shyt said in this song, shyt that white people need to hear from another white man, black people have never fukked with macklemore. His fans are white, he's speaking real shyt to them, shyt that they just can't grasp or comprehend when we tell them.

I appreciate the message.

He sees the backlash against obvious culture vulturing like Iggy....he knows how to play the game. He's that guy that doesn't want to be on anyone's bad side....pro-gay, pro-black, pro-everybody. He said that Kendrick deserved the grammy backstage but he had no problem accepting it when the cameras were on. If he really felt that strongly about it he should've done something. Actions speak louder than words :yeshrug:

I listened and it seems genuine. I like Thrift Shop, he just lost me on Same Love.

i didnt listen,,, i just now read the words.

is he explaining how his white fan base gave him his career?
his last verse is confusing.
he's admitting that his success is because of white people and hes the hero of hip hop
and those who dont share his skin color are the villain
hence he is fighting for a cause

smfh wtf is that shyt
