I doubt it. They might've shown off a money shot or two but the only thing we've seen of the sand/thunder storm is the car being lifted up and exploding. And outside of Charlize Theron doing the ol' "Falling to my knees while yelling NOOOO" thing, there's no hint of what happens to any of the characters either (heroes or villains).

And yeah first one bored the fukk out of me. The Road Warrior and Beyond Thunderdome are unadulterated dope

The first one isn't that bad. I mean, it might fall up short if you go in on the hype of the series as a whole because it's the two sequels that defined pop culture, but the first one is a cool little cult movie.
