meek is under a management deal through roc nation, but the guy who PRODUCED I'ma Boss, Jahlil Beats, is signed directly to Roc Nation.

I'm used to there being some surprises on these game soundtracks. Looked forward to that. I've heard all these...solid choices though
To be politically correct yes he is signed under a management deal and Jahlil Beats under a publishing deal. Which is quite understood, outside a courtroom.
Both are signed directly to Roc Nation under different agreements, he is also signed through a distribution deal, Maybach Music Group through a record deal.
I didn't think about it being a good look for Jahlil Beats though, cause the song says Meek Mill and nothing about Jahlil Beats, but I guess it's two birds with one stone
I'm however wondering about these perfected timed deals these days, specially cats like 2Chainz, Wiz Khalifa who resigned to the same label they already were signed to just months before they were releasing their albums.
